Annalisa Abjelina, MD

Dr. Abjelina graduated from the University of California, San Diego. She completed her internship and residency at the University of California, San Francisco, where she won the prestigious Melvin Grumbach award. Dr Abjelina serves on the board as Secretary for Pediatric Partners, MPC and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Abjelina chose pediatrics because she enjoys taking care of children and their families and making a difference in their lives. Her philosophy of care centers on listening and partnering with her patients and their parents to prevent health problems and to give the best possible care when problems arise. She believes one of the most important ways to protect a child’s health is to make sure that they receive all recommended vaccines on time.

She is married and has one daughter. She enjoys jogging and taking walks with her dog, Kona, window shopping with her daughter, spending time with family, and traveling to relaxing places.
